Suite H Key

-Ensure you write down Patient MR# (you will need it for Log Book)

-Grab key to Suite H Room A1-492 (hanging on wall)

Suite H/Rm A1-492

-Walk to Suite H (if this door is locked, try any of the other Suites along this side of the hallway as they all share the same end corridor. If no luck will need to ask Security to open it for you)

-After enter Suite H walk to very back corridor and room A1-492 is at the end slightly to your left.

-This door is always locked so use the key.

Trophon Cleaner

-Wipe off gel from probe, open door to “Vaginal” Trophon cleaner (the machine on the right, NOT the rectal one!) and snap probe in place

-Take red “sticker” from grey “Trophon Chemical Indicator” box (teal arrow) that sits to the right of the machine and place it on the bottom of the opened door (yellow arrow)

-Close door and press the start button. If it’s already on it only takes 7min to clean but if it has to be awoken from sleep apparently it takes a lot longer (ie hit start and come back in 20min).

PROBE

Probel Clean, Now What?

-After cleaning process is complete, the little printer to the right will spit out 2 stickers

-Remove cleaned probe, place in plastic bag (bags are located in box to the right of the machine)

-Place 1 sticker on the plastic bag where indicated

Log Book

-Place second sticker in Log Book under Red Tab “Log Sheet”

-Ensure to write MR number on this sticker

Bring Clean Probe (and key!) back to our US Machine

-There should always be 2 CLEAN vaginal probes on our US machine

-It is our job to ensure that BOTH are clean and placed back on our machine at the end of each shift (no one else will clean them for us and if we leave one in the Trophon room it may go MIA!)
