  • 1910: BSA founded, Boy Scouts began in the US
  • 1930: Cub Scouts began
  • Our pack was founded in 1999
    • Children in K - 5th grade
    • Our families are primarily from Cedar Lane and Belmont Station Elementary schools, however, we have children at several schools and some who are homeschooled.
  • We are a Boys-only Pack
    • We have considered reclassifying to a Family Pack, but there has not been enough interest to make the change
  • We are all Parents / Volunteers

Our Story……

Pack Structure: Youth

So, what’s a Den?

  • 6-10 Scouts in the same grade, all boys or all girls.
  • Kindergarten Lions and First grade Tigers must attend every event with an adult partner.
  • 5th grade Arrow of Light scouts stay with the Pack until early spring and then “cross over” to a Boy Scout Troop.
  • Each Den has a volunteer leader.
  • Dens meet on their own during the month, and then all dens attend the monthly pack meeting together.
  • Families decide when & where the den meetings are scheduled. They may take turns hosting meetings.
  • Dens can meet at homes, parks, nature centers or at school.

Your Den Leaders and your Pack can use your help! Any time you want to offer to teach a portion of an advancement or an elective or if you have a special skill, ability, or hobby that applies to one of these areas, let them know.

At some point, the Leadership Team will move on and we’ll need new volunteers to keep the Pack running. If you think you may have an interest in a position in the future, let us know. We’re happy to have someone shadow us.
