  • Lending Library- try a new curriculum, budget friendly (coaching can help you identify a good fit)
  • SAS Teachers- co-teachers with you, work with them for success!

Long-Term Strategy: Academic Coaching

What to Expect: Assignments and Homework

Reference syllabus & teacher/student/parent contract to understand each class

Google Classroom- Check & understand grades (look for notes and/or rubrics), plan for assignments, keep up with what is happening in class

PRO TIP: Accept guardian invitations sent after your student joins the class

Each student should know their password and should log in regularly

Remember:

    • The course catalog gives Parent Requirements for each class
    • “Stand-Alone” classes require parent assistance to complete a full year of academic work
    • Plan adequate time at home to support your student in completing assignments
    • Parents are expected to hold students accountable for completing required homework
    • Secondary students must remain in good academic standing to remain eligible for concurrent enrollment.

The JeffCo IT Help Desk has created a job aid and password reset tool to easily reset student & parent passwords!

SAS Staff have limited ability to change student passwords at in-person SAS Events, only.
