  • Courses/training offered
  • At least THREE of the following
    • Cost to complete your program (2 years? 4 years? 5 years?)
    • What kinds of financial aid is available?
    • What scholarships are available?
    • High school GPA requirement
    • AP courses/specialized courses required/recommended?
    • Most distinguishing feature (what makes this program/school stand out?)
  • Mention AT LEAST two of your sources (from your Works Cited)
  • Give verbal attribution to the source of the image you’re using

Specific Requirements

  • Your video must be at least 90 seconds long and no more than 3 minutes long
  • You must have a script completed before we film - scripts should be typed in a Google Doc and saved in your Career Inquiry folder
  • You must find a visual - your visual must be saved in jpeg format (to save a picture: right click on image, click “save image as” and save as jpeg; then send the picture as an attachment)
  • Your visual must be e-mailed to Mrs. Kramer at least one day in advance

  • You will film in one take - be sure you’ve practiced so you don’t have to start over again and again!

Reminders for video etiquette:

  • Speak loudly
    1. We can’t grade what we can’t hear!
  • Speak slowly
    • Slow your normal speech down so your audience can better understand you
  • Speak clearly
    • We can’t grade what we don’t understand!
  • Make eye contact with the camera
    • Newscasters don’t stare at their notes!
  • Be sure to mention where your image came from!
    • The picture behind me is from the University of Virginia’s official website.
  • Be sure to mention your sources!
    • I read that their program can take people five years in the book 100 Best Colleges for Future Teachers.
