一. 在社會中做個好公民（v1-2）
多3:1 你 要 提 醒 眾 人 ， 叫 他 們 順 服 作 官 的 、 掌 權 的 ， 遵 他 的 命 ， 預 備 行 各 樣 的 善 事 。
多3:2 不 要 毀 謗 ， 不 要 爭 競 ， 總 要 和 平 ， 向 眾 人 大 顯 溫 柔 。
1.Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work, 2 to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people.
羅馬書 13:3-5
羅13:3 作 官 的 原 不 是 叫 行 善 的 懼 怕 ， 乃 是 叫 作 惡 的 懼 怕 。 你 願 意 不 懼 怕 掌 權 的 麼 ？ 你 只 要 行 善 ， 就 可 得 他 的 稱 讚 ；
羅13:4 因 為 他 是 神 的 用 人 ， 是 與 你 有 益 的 。 你 若 作 惡 ， 卻 當 懼 怕 ； 因 為 他 不 是 空 空 的 佩 劍 ， 他 是 神 的 用 人 ， 是 伸 冤 的 ， 刑 罰 那 作 惡 的 。
羅13:5 所 以 你 們 必 須 順 服 ， 不 但 是 因 為 刑 罰 ， 也 是 因 為 良 心 。
Roman 13:3-5
3 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, 4 for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience.
行善（good work）
8 這 話 是 可 信 的 。 我 也 願 你 把 這 些 事 切 切 實 實 的 講 明 ， 使 那 些 已 信 神 的 人 留 心 做 正 經 事 業 （ 或 作 ： 留 心 行 善 ） 。 這 都 是 美 事 ， 並 且 與 人 有 益 。
1.Only God is good (Luke 18:18-19)
2. In the New Testament, doing good deeds refers to all things that do the will of God, which can glorify God and benefit others.
3. Not just limited to philanthropy
4. Every work that glorifies God and benefits others is good work
生活應用：��「向眾人大顯溫柔」是聖靈的果子，是主耶穌生命的流露
Application:
"Showing meekness to all" is the fruit of the Holy Spirit, the outpouring of the life of the Lord Jesus
二. 過去不認識神的生命光景（v3）
多3:3 我 們 從 前 也 是 無 知 、 悖 逆 、 受 迷 惑 、 服 事 各 樣 私 慾 ， 和 宴 樂 ， 常 存 惡 毒嫉 妒 的 心 ， 是 可 恨 的 ， 又 是 彼 此 相 恨 。��3 For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another.
三. 生命改變與行善的動力（v4-8）
多3:4 但 到 了 神 ─ 我 們 救 主 的 恩 慈 和 他 向 人 所 施 的 慈 愛 顯 明 的 時 候 ，
多3:5 他 便 救 了 我 們 ； 並 不 是 因 我 們 自 己 所 行 的 義 ， 乃 是 照 他 的 憐 憫 ， 藉 著 重 生 的 洗 和 聖 靈 的 更 新 。
多3:6 聖 靈 就 是 神 藉 著 耶 穌 基 督 我 們 救 主 厚 厚 澆 灌 在 我 們 身 上 的 ，
多3:7 好 叫 我 們 因 他 的 恩 得 稱 為 義 ， 可 以 憑 著 永 生 的 盼 望 成 為 後 嗣 。 。
多3:8 這 話 是 可 信 的 。 我 也 願 你 把 這 些 事 切 切 實 實 的 講 明 ， 使 那 些 已 信 神 的 人 留 心 做 正 經 事 業 （ 或 作 ： 留 心 行 善 ） 。 這 都 是 美 事 ， 並 且 與 人 有 益 。
4 But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. 8 The saying is trustworthy, and I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful to devote themselves to good works. These things are excellent and profitable for people.
為什麼生命可以改變？有動力去行善工呢？
「重生的洗」與「聖靈的更新」�The washing of regeneration and Renewal of the Holy Spirit�
約壹1:7 我 們 若 在 光 明 中 行 ， 如 同 神 在 光 明 中 ， 就 彼 此 相 交 ， 他 兒 子 耶 穌 的 血 也 洗 淨 我 們 一 切 的 罪 。
約壹1:9 我 們 若 認 自 己 的 罪 ， 神 是 信 實 的 ， 是 公 義 的 ， 必 要 赦 免 我 們 的 罪 ， 洗 淨 我 們 一 切 的 不 義 。��7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
羅8:2 因 為 賜 生 命 聖 靈 的 律 ， 在 基 督 耶 穌 裡 釋 放 了 我 ， 使 我 脫 離 罪 和 死 的 律 了 。
羅8:13 你 們 若 順 從 肉 體 活 著 ， 必 要 死 ； 若 靠 著 聖 靈 治 死 身 體 的 惡 行 ， 必 要 活 著 。
羅8:14 因 為 凡 被 神 的 靈 引 導 的 ， 都 是 神 的 兒 子 。
Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.
Rom 8:13-14 For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons[f] of God.
感謝神！我們不是靠自己成聖，�而是三位一體的真神在我們生命中動工�Thank God! We are not sanctified by ourselves,
It is the Triune God at work in our lives
多3:6 聖 靈 就 是 神 藉 著 耶 穌 基 督 我 們 救 主 厚 厚 澆 灌 在 我 們 身 上 的 ，
….and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he (God) poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior
