Steps to Become a School Volunteer

Builta parents/family members have the opportunity to volunteer at Builta for PTA parties, grade level field trips, classroom activities, PTA events, etc.

In order to volunteer, parents need to complete a quick volunteer sign up process through the district. Volunteer information can be found in the link below.

District 204’s Volunteer Program, GIVE (Growing Involvement, Valuing Education) is continuing this year through the Raptor Technologies system. The GIVE Program, aligned with the district’s Strategic Plan, helps recruit and support volunteers across the district in areas such as Boosters, Fine Arts, LMC, PTA, and IPPC events.

To volunteer, please be sure to:

1. Complete the district’s Consent Form (English or Spanish)

2. Submit a new Online Application (English or Spanish) through the Raptor Technologies system.

3. Upload the Consent Form into your Online Application.

Both forms are available on our Volunteer Program webpage. This process keeps volunteer records consistent across all District 204 schools.

Returning Volunteers (2025–26 School Year):If you are a returning volunteer, you will need to reapply once your application expires. Raptor Technologies will email you directly when your volunteer status is about to expire.

If you have questions about the program, please contact Jeannie Dina, Assistant Director of Community Relations at jeannie_dina@ipsd.org.
