We have been told,

“All things in their time.”

All that is common, all that’s sublime;

But when we ponder – Life is so hard;

Much to be altered, much to discard.

Problems beset us,

grow to dismay;

Worries consume us, blocking our way;

When we are crushed we wish for release;

Where is delight and where is some peace?

When we are longing

for some relief;

Trapped in a web of failure or grief;

Yearning for respite, just a short pause;

Give us some answers! Tell us the cause!

God is beside us, feeling the pain;

God is around us, sharing the strain;

God is before us, calling to strive;

God is within - the will to survive.
