What is Global Warming? /Why does it happen?

Global Warming is a gradual increase in the overall temperature of the earth's atmosphere generally attributed to the greenhouse effect caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, and other pollutants. The greenhouse effect is the CO2 and other gases that goes into the atmostphere and forms a big layer around the planet filled with gases. Those gases keep the sunlight that hits the earth inside the atmostphere instead letting of the heat go out to space.
