Digital portfolio upload deadline: Monday 26th January 2026 @ 11.59pm

Post 16 Meetings: Week commencing 16th February 2026

Applicants are to:

1. Create a powerpoint or google slide portfolio with no more than 20 slides (this includes all 3 title slides).
2. Save the portfolio as a PDF.
3. Ensure work is clearly photographed (in focus, good lighting).
4. Add the following info to each slide: size, medium, any additional information if needed (eg. title or description).
5. Complete Pretasks 1 + 2 and include this within their portfolio (approximately 5 slides - please follow the guidance).
6. Add any video or moving image work as a separate link (e.g. youtube / vimeo / google drive link - check sharing settings).

PRE TASK 1 - Drawings

Applicants are to complete 3 x observational drawings.

The observational drawings can be of anything you like. However, they have to relate in some way to things or experiences you have had during the last year.

You may use any material you feel appropriate to draw with.

Ensure you label this as pre task 1 and that it is at the front of your portfolio.

PRE TASK 2 - Artist Research

Choose one piece of work from an Artist, Designer or Craftsperson that you really like.

In 300 words max, write an explanation of:

• Why you like the work
• How you discovered the work
• What you know about the work itself (you may choose to comment on its context, the history surrounding the piece of work or the nature of its size and medium).

Include a photo of this work with your text.

Please include the following 3 title slides in your portfolio

Remember if you are creating a google slide show you must make sure the sharing settings are set for us to view.
