District Director Awards

Sandeep Madasu DTM� District Director�District 126�(2023-24)

Award: Toastmaster of the Year (District Stage)

​

Criteria:

• A member who makes outstanding contribution to the District.
• The member should fulfil the requirements in the prescribed form (available below).

​

Eligibility:

• The member shouldn't be recipient of ToY award previously in District 126
• The member should be in good standing of a club in good standing.
• One Award per Division.

Process:

• The application for ‘Toastmaster of the Year’ should be sent to the respective Area Director by April 15, 2024.
• The Area Directors will select and forward 2 nominations to their Division Directors by April 22, 2024.
• The Division Directors will then recommend the top two, by April 27, 2024, to the District Director.
• The District Director’s decision will be final.
• Application will be rolled out as deadline approaches

Award: Distinguished Toastmaster (District stage)

Criteria:

• Members achieving Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) status between July 1, 2023, and June 30, 2024.

• No limitation on the number of eligible members.

Program Quality Director Awards

Vikram Chandra, DTM� Program Quality Director�District 126�(2023-24)

Award: Triple Crown

​

Criteria:

• Any member completing 3 Levels in total between July 1, 2023, to April 15, 2024 and completing annual renewal till Sep 2024

​

Eligibility:

Member in a good standing of a club in a good standing & not eligible for Pathways Star Award.

​

Process:

• Verified through dashboard + approved by VPE.

​

Recognition:

• Social Media recognition and Trophy/Plaque/Respective Pin for the member.

​

Award: Pathways Star

​

Criteria:

• Member to complete one path between July 1, 2023, to April 15, 2024 and mentor at least 2 members in their home club to achieve their level 1 or 2.

Eligibility:

• Member in a good standing of a club in a good standing..

​

Process:

• Verified through dashboard as well as member must send an email to the PQD office (PQD.vikram@district126.org) on mentoring assignment of the 2 members.

Recognition:

• Trophy/Plaque/Respective Pathways Pin for the member.

Award: Shining Star Award

​

Criteria:

• Member should serve as a Judge atleast 7 times in each of the two contest cycles(total 14 times)- club,area level or above, within District 126

​

Eligibility:

• Member in a good standing of a club in a good standing
• Attend Judges Training program organized by the District

Process:

• Verified through CJ report as well as email the same to PQD.Vikram@district126.org

Award: Leading Star Award

​

Criteria:

• Member should serve as a Chief Judge minimum 5 times in each of the two contest cycles-club,area level or above, within District 126

Eligibility:

• Member in a good standing of a club in a good standing.
• Attend Chief Judges Training program organized by the District.

Process:

• Verified through CJ report.

Award: Guiding Star

​

Criteria:

• All Club officers needs to be trained within 15 days of Club Charter.
• To conduct at least 2 Educational sessions from 'Club Success Series' and at least one from the 'Better Speaker Series' within 6 months of club charter.

​

Eligibility:

• Only Club Mentor of the clubs Chartered on or after Jan 1, 2023, are eligible.
• Should have attended at least 10 Club meetings.
• Mentor credit awarded by TI on Dashboard.

​

Process:

• President/VP Education of New club needs to send sign off Email to PQD office (PQD.vikram@district126.org) within 30 calendar days post the Mentor Term completion.

• Clubs to achieve 5 DCP points by 31st December 2023 and become Distinguished by April 15, 2024.

Award: Speechcraft Leader Award

Criteria:

• Any member or a club initiating Speechcraft program for the District

Eligibility:

• Member/Club is in good standing
• Speechcraft program must include atleast 12 members
• The venue for the program must be decided by the club/member.

• An email notification about this initiation must be sent to PQD office (PQD.Vikram@district126.org) before the start of the program and also at the end of the program conclusion.

Award: YLP Leader Award

Criteria:

• Any member or a club initiating YLP program for the District

Eligibility:

• Member/Club is in good standing
• The venue for the program must be decided by the club/member.

• An email notification about this initiation must be sent to PQD office (PQD.Vikram@district126.org) before the start of the program and also at the end of the program conclusion.

Award: Mentor Excellence

Criteria:

• Make the club distinguished.
• Mentor at least 5 members of the club as mentees
• Clubs chartered after 1st March 2023.�The deadline for this award is 5^th May 2024

• Members in good standing(including their club)
• Award will be given to club Mentor in each quarter

​

Process:

• Data will be captured from the report generated by Toastmasters International.
• The Club mentor must send the email notification about the mentoring done(include Mentees names, by looping in the clubs VPED, President, Area Director, to PQD office(PQD.vikram@gmail.com) by the club on or before May 5^th 2024
• The verification of the mentoring to the mentees will be done by the clubs VP-ED, who will then send a confirmation email to PQD office on or before May5th,2024.

Criteria:

• Division Directors who satisfy the condition that 90% of their base clubs have greater than or equal to 20 members by September 30, 2023 and March 31, 2024

Eligibility:

• Collectively the Division Directors and Area Directors should ensure 100% Area Club Visit Reports filed by September 20, 2023 for the first cycle and March 30, 2024 and for the second cycle

​

• Member sponsored details should reflect on the sponsors TI individual profile (i.e., at the time of member being added to a club, sponsor name should have been recognized).

Criteria:

• Clubs in which minimum 11 members do annual renewals, during the September renewal cycle before October 31, 2023.

Criteria:

Criteria: 

• To have at least 70% Retention & 13 active members after September Renewals (by 23rd October, 2023)

• To conduct an Open House on or before 30^th October (New Members Addition isn’t a requirement but just conducting one)

• For July, base membership as per dashboard will be taken.
• For September, membership as on monthly closing date will be considered.

Criteria:

• This award will be given once in four months to top 3 members of the District.

Process:

• The email notification about this event must first be validated by the members clubs VP-Education, verified by the visited Clubs VP Education.
• The verified report (by email) must be sent to Area Director who will review.
• Area Director to send the final report, copying the member to the Division Director
• Division Director must email it to CGD office (cgd.darshan@district126.org) marking the Area Director and the member, on or before 30^th of every 4^th month beginning 1^st July 2023 and ending 30^th June 2024.

Criteria:

• Member generated club lead that gets chartered during the program year.

Award: Superstar VP Membership

Criteria:

• Club to achieve all three (3) Toastmasters membership building program i.e., Smedley Award, Talk up Toastmasters and Beat the Clock.

Criteria:

Award: Helping Hand

Criteria:

• Clubs who support a club with less than 12 members in conducting meetings, taking educational sessions and building membership to reach at least 20 members by April 10th, 2024 and become a Distinguished Club in the current program year by April 30, 2024.

Eligibility:

• Club being supported should have less than 12 base membership.
• Gain 1 DCP in Membership renewals in both cycles
• Minimum 10 members of the club should support the struggling club.
• Conduct at least 1 open house.

Process:

• Clubs interested to take up the initiative should send an expression of interest to cgd.darshan@district126.org before August 30, 2023.
• Status will be checked as per the dashboard.
• The email notification about this support provided must be sent to CGD office (cgd.darshan@district126.org) by the club(with member names supporting the club, Open house details with Agenda, flier, MOM on or before May 31^st 2024 .

Administration Manager Awards

Mayuri Assudani, DTM� Administration Manager�District 126�(2023-24)

Award: Excellence in Administration (District Stage)

Criteria: For Club Secretaries who maintain Minutes of all club meetings through the year with any decisions ratified by the club membership

​

Eligibility:

​

• The Minutes be sent to the club members via email / any other mode of communication (WhatsApp)
• The Secretary must be trained during both Club Officers Training cycle (proof to be submitted along with other documents)

​

Process:�

• Maintain the prescribed Minutes of Meetings from July 1^st 2023 to April 30^th 2024.
• The process would be in 2 parts. The first set of Minutes (July 1^st 2023 to December 31^st, 2023) to be emailed on or before 5^th January 2024. The second set of Minutes (January 1^st 2024 to April 30^th 2024) to be emailed on or before 5^th May 2024.
• The folder with the relevant minutes to be compressed in a single folder, attached and emailed with the subject line: Administration award_ Club Name_ Division Name

Criteria: For Club VP Public Relations who:

• Organize a PR campaign in their term (one in case of 6-month club term, two in case of annual club term)
• Bring in at least 15 first timers to their club meetings (30 in case of annual club term)
• Persuade and make 70% of their club members follow the District’s Instagram or LinkedIn handle (Stats to be collected on 30^th Apr and 30^th Sep)

Eligibility: No limitation on number of eligible VPs PR.

Process:

• Drop an email to dprm.charan@district126.org conveying your intent to be considered for the award by the 15^th of August, 2023
• The deadline by which all the above criteria need to be met is 15^th of May, 2024 (Annual or Semi-annual club term)

• Ensure that Club President and VP Education attest to the attendance of first timer attending the club meetings
• Furnish the details of the club members following the District’s handles

​

Criteria: For Club VP Public Relations who:

Finance Manager Award

Manideep, DTM�Finance Manager�District 126�(2023-24)

Award: Financial Leadership Excellence Award (District Stage)

Criteria:

• Accurate Financial Records: Club treasurers should maintain clear and accurate records of all club transactions, including receipts and payments.
• Quarterly Financial Reporting: Club treasurers should publish consolidated accounts of the club on a quarterly basis, providing members with a transparent view of the club's financial status. The basic report includes a cashbook, receipts and payments Excel sheet. A sample format of reports will be shared with you.
• Year-End Audit: Clubs with a 6-month/(1-year term) should conduct an audit in December/(May), either by an audit committee or with an independent auditor. The audit findings should be published for the members' awareness.

​

Eligibility: There is no limitation on the number of awards, allowing all eligible clubs to be recognized for their financial excellence. Clubs meeting the above criteria should submit their intent to participate by the end of August 2023 through a provided Google form.

​

Submission Process:

• Audited Financials: Financial reports signed by Treasurer, President and audit committee. For the treasurers serving a 6-month/1-year term, the first audited report is to be emailed on or before December 30, 2023.The second audited report is to be emailed on or before May 5, 2024. • Plaque for Treasurers: Treasurers from eligible clubs, whether they serve one term or both terms in an annual tenure, will receive a personalized plaque in recognition of their exceptional financial leadership.

Logistics Manager Awards

Akhilesh Morishetty�Logistics Manager�District 126�(2023-24)

Award: Excellence in Logistics (District Stage)

Criteria:

• Sergeant at Arms (SAA) who participates in 75% of their home club meetings (regular, special, milestone or any other) as a roleplayer.
• To participate in at least 2 events beyond the club level (joint meetings, contests, workshops etc.) as SAA or Zoom master. If the club has a semi-annual Executive Committee, both SAAs need to have at least 1 participation beyond club.

Eligibility:

​

• The SAA must be trained during both cycles of Club Officer Training Program

​

Process:�

• Maintain the prescribed agenda of meetings from July 1, 2023, to April 30, 2024. Submit intent to participate when the Google form is launched by end of September 2023.
• The process would be in 2 parts; the first set of agendas (July 1, 2023, to November 30, 2023) to be emailed on or before December 5, 2023, the second set of agendas (December 1, 2023 to April 30, 2024) to be emailed on or before May 5, 2024. District 126�(2023-24)

1: Education and Training Goals

1. The Club should achieve 10/10 goals of the Distinguished Club Program by 15th April 2024

​

2. A minimum of 15 club members or 60% members (whichever is lower) should complete any level in the Pathways program between 1st July 2023 and 15th April 2024.

​

3. A minimum of 2 members completing full Path between 1st July 2023 and 15th April 2024.

​

4. All seven club officers must attend training during both cycles (July 2023 & January 2024) of COTP/TLTPs (no proxy, Top-Up & Offline trainings allowed for COTP/TLTP Cycle 2)

2: Contest Goals

1. A Club should conduct all the official speech contests in the official TI Contest format (Nominations will not qualify for this criterion) Online Contests are acceptable.

2. Such clubs must ensure that all details, in the prescribed form, are sent by the Chief Judge of the Contest only to the DCJ/PQD office and immediate level District Officer within 7 days of it being held. Form will be released soon

​

3. At least six members should serve as a Judge in each of the two contest cycles at club level contest within District 126.

​

4. At least three members should serve as a Chief Judge in each of the two contest cycles at club level contest within District 126.

3:Administration Goals

​

1.The Club should submit its duly filled Club Success Plan to its respective Area Director & Division Director by 31st August 2023 and

revised one by 31st January 2024

​

2. The Club must conduct the Moments of Truth module from the ‘Successful Club Series’ twice; once before 31st August 2023 and once

before 28th February 2024.

​

3. A scanned copy of the filled worksheets of page numbers 2 and 3 along with the Action plan, which can be found at

https://www.toastmasters.org//~/media/1552323ec5b34eee9460a2142e1b1901.ashx, must be submitted to the respective Area Directors

on or before 01st September 2023 and 01st March 2024, respectively.

4. Both the President and Vice President Education of the Club should attend the District Council Meeting (DCM). They must register at the venue for the meeting or sign in for the Virtual DCM before time (as per guidelines for the quorum)

4: Membership Goals

1. The Club should hold Membership Building Campaign where an open house is arranged to attract new members to the home club in the presence of Area or Division Director OR Conduct a special meeting for non-toastmasters (minimum 15) in the presence of Area or Division Director.

2. The event should be conducted twice between 1st August 2023 and 31st March 2024. Summary with pictures should be sent to the CGD and the District Officer who attended, within ten days of the event.

​

3. Adding 5 New Members to the club within 30 days of conducting the above Membership Building Campaign/Special Meeting.

​

4. The Club shall pay and upload* membership dues of at least 20 members by 25th September 2023 (for October 2023 to March

2024 period) and by 25th March 2024 (for April 2024 to September 2024 period).
