Social media engagement

I created social media chatter and scheduled stories for multiple accounts on different platforms such as X, Facebook and Instagram.

I adjusted the tone and voice based on the brand personality and type of story I’m promoting on social media. I also did SEO practices on story headlines and descriptions.

2. Graphic Design

I have experience with graphic design as well. I designed a logo for KBIA’s newest podcast called Canned Peaches. I also design templates for a project I did for their Instagram.

3. Instagram Project

I worked on revamping and rebranding KBIA’s Instagram by changing the way they promote audio stories on their platform.

I also identified areas in which they could improve on, such as utilizing reels, Instagram stories and designing templates and guidelines that other students could use

My vision for the final project

This is a prototype that I created after understanding the brand’s voice, personality and overall vision. KBIA is a community focused newsroom, so I organized, posts, colors, fonts and designs to deliver that message across.

I also came up with different templates and categorized their stories so they could post consistently.

Results

We implemented my templates and ideas on the 15th of November, and we have seen an increase in numbers in a short span of time.

Longevity (Update as of 2025)

KBIA’s instagram page has continued to grow (follower growth of over 60%). My templates, branding and ideas are still implemented after 2 years, demonstrating its efficiency and ease.

4. Writing Samples
