Petalaje

A lost voyager from long ago…

Sound: Ambient Synth

Etymology:Petal + Mirage

Islands:Meadows

Lagoon

Glade

???

???

???

Bio: Like a strange shimmer, the pearlescent form of Petalaje reflects and refracts light around it. They seem to stick to themselves, silently observing from afar without interacting with other monsters (besides the spritely Tinkertune, with whom they seem to have fostered a friendship of some sort). Seemingly out of place wherever they travel, it makes one wonder where… or when… they come from…

Creator and Creature in perfect Harmony…

Sound: Electric Piano

Etymology:Glob + Tinker

Islands:Meadows

Glade

???

Globbo and Tinkertune are the closest of friends, yet differ more than they are alike. Globbo is a slime creature, with no proper form. To stay upright, he sits on a rock found and chiseled by Tinkertune, an inventor. When Globbo is sad, its slime will start to leave its body in glowing orbs. However, Tinkertune prods the floating orbs to create a calming sound, and cheers their friend right up!

A Mysterious Guardian with wisdom untold…

Sound: Bonsuri

Etymology:Zen + Bonsuri

Islands:Meadows

Zensuuri is the keeper of the meadows, and as such knows far more than anyone else about this shrouded location. While seemingly kind, Zensuuri is quite secretive, and refuses to aid anyone in their quest to travel beyond the Meadows, if it's even possible…

The Wailing Willow

Ancient Souls whisper and wail as one…

Sound: Choir

Etymology:Wail + Whispering WIllow

Islands:Lagoon

[Passage]

The amorphous cries of the Wailing Willow strike a tone of discomfort and uncertainty for any who listen. As they sway and ooze in the wind, the various components of this creature seem to know all and see all, their roots reaching farther than one can imagine. Comprised of dozens of souls, it bears resemblance to a certain family of ghouls, though how it could be related is unknown. Despite having much wisdom to impart, it seems all most monsters hear from it are whispers and wails...

Wronged creatures summoning a new form…

Sound: Hang Drums

Etymology:Mystic + Monochrome

Islands:Meadows

???

Long ago, after creating the modern day single and double ethereals, the Colossal Zarroë attempted to create more complex hybrids. Unfortunately, in a discovery of what is now common knowledge, these creations proved to be far too unstable, and started to phase out of reality itself. These monsters found themselves beyond the fabric of space and time, and began to destabilize further, in the case of Mystichrome causing the monster to lose all but its eyes. Many years later, these sentient eyes found themselves in a strange alternate landscape, exploring and changing to match their environment. Their only goal and thought was to find a way, any way, to recreate their body, and be able to function like a typical monster. Somewhere in this journey, they found a way to enchant a simple cauldron into a new body harnessing the power of Krystyllium: it is unknown what havoc their sorcery will enact upon the Ether...

Adobon

A perfect prince,

coming apart at the seams…

Sound: Shehnai Oboe

Etymology:Adonis + Oboe

Islands:

Lagoon

???

Adobon is a welcome companion on our heroes’ journey, though quite the mystery itself. A practitioner of arcane witchcraft, Adobon seems to know its way around the manipulation of matter quite well. The only odd feature about it is its face, which seems to be shifting and dripping away-- perhaps a relic of its unstable past. That doesn't stop Adobon from singing though, producing a hauntingly metallic scream, amplified through its oozing face.

Chronocheeks

Scampering across the tangled threads of time…

Sound: Clock Ticking

Etymology:Chronos + Cheeks

Islands:

Passage

The spry young Chronocheeks is the Willow's voice of Joy. As it navigates the gnarled branches of the inner mind, it tips the scales towards joy and creativity. Although a small and weak presence, its influences strike within the very core of the Wailing Willow, longing for a simpler time that never was.

Sound: Metal Swoosh

Etymology:Monoceros (Narwhal Family) + Spear

Pharab

Archaic Relics meet Arcane Power…

Sound: Bells (Origin)

Etymology:Pharaoh + Scarab

Islands:

Passage

The Pharab may seem like a monster wrapped up in long yellowed paper, however the arcane glyphs on its underside show otherwise. The strands themselves are composed of some sort microorganisms, which act as a hive mind to create the illusion of one whole monster. However, the small creatures are unable to hold themselves together alone, which is where the scarabs upon its back come into play. These odd caretakers hold parts of the wrapping together, shaping the living scripture on the parchment's underside into a true being, the voice of Mystery.

Glofogoo

Splish! Splash! Oh- where did it go?

Sound: Mallet Flux

Etymology:Glow + Goo

Islands:

Passage

Amphibious monsters like Glofogoo are rarely seen far from water, but peculiarly there isn't any at all within the Mindspace. Rather, the Glofogoo actually is able to summon natural springs and wetland wildlife around it, ever so slowly beautifying the Mindspace with its symbiotic bobalgae. What a fitting creature to be bestowed the mantle of the Voice of Nature.

Exvirimint

A pursuer of Knowledge, no matter the cost…

Sound: Humming

Etymology:Experiment + Vermin

Islands:

Passage

As the Voice of Analysis, Exvirimint brings a logical opinion to any argument. Most of the knowledge this grotesque rodent has is acquired from testing on itself, giving this monster horrible hygiene as a side effect. Some may think Exvirimint gets 'too into its experiments', but it's simply enthusiastic about its role in the Mindscape!

Etymology:Phoenix + Feather + Crow

Islands:

Passage

The greatest crime is a simple fib. That is the policy of the voice of Revenge, the ever fiery Phoethow. With each pact broken, a feather is shed, until the spark of a new promise reignites them and they are born anew.

Like all the tertiary sub-entities within the willow, the mystic Xochymi represents a more abstract concept. Held aloft by pure imagination and magic, this effervescent being contributes inventive and fantastical ideas, making the Voice of The Mystic a crucial player in working to resolve the crisis in the Ether outside.
