BOARD OF ESTIMATES
The Board of Estimates (BOE) is responsible for formulating, determining, and executing fiscal policies of the City. In order to guarantee, confirm and improve cost effective and efficient fiscal administration of the City, all transactions are scrutinized before they are voted on for final approval by the Board.
The BOE consists of five voting members: The Mayor, President of the City Council, the Comptroller, the City Solicitor, and the Director of Public Works. The President of the City Council serves as President of the Board of Estimates, and the City Comptroller serves as Secretary to the Board.

Must be submitted by Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. of the week before the BoE meeting at which the item will be considered.
Review
BOE employees review items for form and content.
BOE approval or disapproval
Submissions to be returned with signature (within 5 days).
