First thing first. There is Symbaloo and Symbalooedu.

Although there is no difference in how a Symbaloo is created

and the functions are the same, I recommend the edu account

for a few reasons.

1. When you create a Symbaloo account it comes preloaded with some Webmixes (pages) set up for you. The edu account contains education specific content.

YouTube

Tour

2. When you search for other Webmixes, the Symbalooedu database is geared for teachers and classroom resources. You many not find as many resources in the regular Symbaloo database.

the entire left over Webmix by “X-ing” it out.

Mouse over the tile you do not wish to keep and an “X” will appear

Making your tile look “Just So”

You have the ability to change the name of your tile, the color, and the icon.

If you do not like the pre-set icon, you can Google an image and save it to your computer. This image can be uploaded and used as your tile image.

The Nimbus Screenshot Extension in the Google Web Store is great for getting your icons.
