Who am I, why Trash Talk?

Who am I?

My name is Yaksh Grover. I'm a junior this year at Anderson High in Austin Texas. Some of my passions include engineering, robotics, gaming, and sports.

Why Trash Talk?

For the last 5 years of my life I lived in New Delhi, India. One of the countries major problems was always trash. Everywhere you go you would see trash. It was endless, and so much to where people gave up on cleaning it. I want to pursue trash talk in the future to help educate people about trash all around the world in innovative and efficient way.

What is Trash Talk?

Trash talk is a initiative that leads people from QR codes placed around trash cans and communities leading them to the Trash Talk website. This website will greet and introduce users to the project initiative, then show them all of the aspects and statistics of trash and pollution in their community, and their causes. Furthermore, the website will show them solutions to the problems their community has and what they can do personally to help. Once users make it this far, they will be shown different already existing forums and a chance to create community forums to spread these ideas with other people, and explore different places and their “Trash Talk”.

How will I get all of this info?

It's simple, AI. As the tech era progresses artificial intelligence gets more and more powerful, and resourceful. The Trash Talk site will need various different pieces of data which are scattered throughout the web, but by implementing AI to produce this info for the website and the features this site can become very efficient and resourceful. With use of AI to set up the branches of pages throughout the site and their data and visuals the site can be virtually endless in info, and with a AI chatbot adapted to helping with Q&A regarding Trash Talk related matters, the site can prosper with AI.

How will the Trash Talk website make impact?

One thing people throughout the world continue to purchase is phones. As of 2024, there are 7.21 billion smartphones. With the QR leading to the Trash Talk website people can access the QRs using their phones built in QR scanner which are now built into many phones. With a simple attractive slogan or phrase with the QR, people all around the world can be attracted to scanning the QR, then following that by seeing all of the websites data translated into their language within the options provided for the site. This can make impact all around the world and influence tons of people and educate them, leading to a healthier and less polluted planet.
