CASUALS v/s MEMBERS USING DIFFERENT TYPES OF BIKES

9 of 10

  • Members are higher in number but their ride length is shorter than that of casuals.
  • No. of riders start to increase from february to september due to seasonal changes and as winters arrive, the trip count comes down.
  • For casual riders the peak days are weekends and for members its weekdays, suggesting that the casuals are mainly the tourists and children while the members are employees.
  • Use of classic bikes is popular among both types.

SUMMARY

10 of 10

  • Memberships cost during seasonal changes, i.e, during winters can be pulled down to increase the no. of trips and trip duration.
  • As casuals peak at weekends, we can go for weekend memberships to increase conversion.
  • Modification in membership subscription by reducing the cost as the ride length increases, which will give the existing members incentives to go for long drives!!!
