1. Future Simple (will + V)

• Prediction (we believe in it): I’m sure he will come.
• Promise: I promise, I will do it!
• On-the-spot decisions: I’m tired. I’ll have a break.
• Threats: I will punish you!
• When we are not sure about our plans: Maybe I’ll go there…

Future Continuous (will be + V-ing)

• Process in future: I’ll be reading the whole summer.
• Planned action: This time tomorrow I’ll be driving home.
• Polite question: Will you be walking tonight?

• Action that will be finished in future: By the time we come back she will have eaten everything!
