Difference Between Projected �and Non-projected Aids

Projected Aids

Non-projected Aids

When aids are projected on screen or on walls, they are called projected aids.

Non-projected aids are generally still materials.

A projected aid is a visual aid such as a computer with graphics and television and supports the inclusion of multimedia.

A non-projected aid used in teaching would be a chalkboard, textbook, or audio with no video capabilities.

Projected aids are sophisticated and complex in nature.

Simple, readily available and inexpensive.

Equipments and power supply are needed for working.

No equipments and power supply required.

Difficult to use without proper technical know how.

Any person can easily use it.

It can be stored and kept for a longer period. It has long durability.

Cannot be stored easily and could be damaged.

A projected aid is bound to be more effective than a non projected aid.

A non-projected aid is said to be less effective than projected aid.

Projected aids include slides, film-strips, films, ppt, etc.

Non-projected aids include maps, charts, globes, display models, bulletin boards, etc.
