Who can participate?

Middle and High School, Grades 6-12

  • No more than 20 projects per school (not grade level specific) can participate at Regionals.
    • In the past the limit has been 8 projects but we want to encourage students to register early and go through the process on MySciFair.com
  • Students will have the opportunity to advance to the Colorado State Science and Engineering Fair at CSU Fort Collins.
    • Qualifiers are not necessarily chosen by their categorical place (1st, 2nd, 3rd).
  • Students may compete individually or as a team.
  • Teams may consist of no more than three (3) students. If a team drops to only one member, the project CANNOT be entered in the individual category.
