+ بماذا أدعوك أيتها العذراء

الكُلية القداسة،

التى حملت غير المُدرك،

وغير المُحوى أيضاً.

+ تكثر مدائحك، أيتها المُزينة

بكر كرامة، لأنك صرت

مسكناً، لحكمة الله.

+ أنتِ هى الصنارة العقلية،

التى تصطاد المسيحيين

وتعلمهم السجود،

للثالوث المُحيّى.

+ What do I call you, O pure Virgin, who gave birth to the incomprehensible, and infinite One.

+ Many are your praises, O who is adorned with honor, for you became a dwelling, for the wisdom of God.

+ You are the rational net, that catches Christians, and teaches them to worship, the life-giving Trinity.

"But He answered and said to the one who told Him, "Who is My mother and who are My brothers?". And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, "Here are My mother and My brothers!.For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother" (Mat 12 : 50)

But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, (Gal 4 : 4)

و ظهرت آية عظيمة في السماء امراة متسربلة بالشمس و القمر تحت رجليها و على رأسها اكليل من اثني عشر كوكباً (رؤ 12 : 1)

Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars (Rev 12 : 1)

ثيؤطوكية الخميس The Thursday Theotokia

+ رأيت آية ظهرت فى السماء، إذ بامرأة مُتسربلة بالشمس، والقمر أيضاً تحت رجليها.

+ واثنا عشر كوكباً، تُكلل رأسها، وهى حُبلى تتمخض،

صارخة لتلد.

+ هى مريم، السماء الجديدة

التى على الأرض، المشرق لنا

منها، شمس البر.

+ I saw a miracle that appeared in heaven, a woman is clothed with the sun, and the moon also, was under her feet.

+ Upon her head was a crown of twelve stars, she being with a child cried out in labor, and in pain to give birth.

+ This is Mary, the new heaven on earth, the Sun of righteousness, shines upon us from her.

ثيؤطوكية الخميس The Thursday Theotokia

+ لأن الشمس المتسربلة بها،

هى ربنا يسوع المسيح،

والقمر الذى تحت رجليها،

هو يوحنا المعمدان.

+ والإثنا عشر كوكباً،

المُكللة رأسها هى الاثنا عشر رسولاً، يحيطون بها ويكرّمونها.

+ فلهذا يا جميع الشعوب،

نمجد العذراء،

لأنها ولدت لنا الله،

وبتوليتها مختومة.

+ For the Sun that is clothing her, is our Lord Jesus Christ, and the moon under her feet, is John the Baptist.

+ For the crown of twelve stars, upon her head are the twelve apostles, who surround her, and honor her.

+ Wherefore all ye nations, let us glorify the Virgin, for she gave birth to God, and her virginity remained sealed.
