SORA is our digital library that offers ebooks and audiobooks to Wallingford students.

Go to soraapp.com or download the Sora App on any device.

Students log into the site using their usual Google username and password.

WPL- HOOPLA

• You will need a Wallingford Public Library card
• Must create an account (with your parents’ permission/supervision)
• You will need an email address (NOT your Wallingford email)
• Can borrow 4 items per month
• Suggestion: click on “filtered” and choose “titles for kids”
• Can download to your device - no data charges
• Can read or listen on your computer/chromebook or on a mobile device.
• Items disappear at end of checkout time
• An unlimited number of people can borrow books at the same time

Wallingford Public Library Program

Log reading and complete challenges for a chance to earn prizes!

​

To complete this program, you’ll need to read 720 minutes this summer- just 15 minutes a day! For every 60 minutes you read, you’ll earn one prize entry. Completing the program will give you a bonus entry giving you a total of 13 possible entries for reading. You may also write a short review for a bonus entry when you complete a book, up to a maximum of 10 books.

If you finish early, keep going! By reading 1,200 minutes before the program officially ends on August 16th, you will be entered into the Grand Prize drawing- a $100 Barnes & Noble Gift Card. You will continue to accrue prize entries for each additional hour you read.

​

Log your reading and activities using Beanstack from June 30th-August 16th
