HiSET/GED Programs

    • Brush up on your skills at the Adult Community Learning Center (ACLC).
    • Free classes to help students take the high school equivalency, GED or HiSET, exam.
    • Morning, Night, and Online classes are available.
    • A HiSET or GED is a signal to colleges, training programs, and employers that you have the same knowledge and skills as a high school graduate.

HiSET/GED – Steps to Enroll

  • Step 1

Please complete the form on our Student Portal. On the form, when asked why you are interested in enrolling be sure to select "HSE" or "High School Equivalency" as one of your options, as this represents the GED/HiSET.

  • Step 2

You will be contacted �when we have dates for placement testing available. This testing �will be in-person at our Downtown location in Worcester.

  • Step 3

Take a program placement on the path to enrollment. After all steps have been completed, you will be able to begin attending class!

We will reach out �when we have dates available for the Placement Test. You will attend this test in-person.

  • Step 3

After completing the Placement Test, you will be added to the waitlist. You will be contacted when there is an opening in your class.

Credit ESL Classes

  • College-level classes that fulfill Humanities electives towards many programs at QCC. Open to all students who can either pay for courses out of pocket and/or qualify for Federal Student Aid.
  • Cost as much as QCC Tuition and Fees (which could possible be free if you qualify)
  • To join, you will need to apply to the school and get accepted

Center for Workforce ESOL Classes

  • Students can attend our classes to improve their English language skills and achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals. We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced level classes in Listening & Speaking, Reading & Writing.
  • $379 / Free to Snap recipients
