Dr. Biswajit Saha �Director (Trainings & Skill Education), CBSE
Dr. Biswajit Saha is Director (Trainings & Skill Education) in CBSE, New Delhi. Manages the works of Skill curriculum design, development of Student resource books & Training Manuals and Monitors the execution of various Teachers Training Programmes by 16 CBSE-Centre of Excellences.
Prior to joining CBSE in 2011, Dr Saha was faculty member & HOD (CSE) at Government Engineering College, Agartala served as OSD (Technical Education), Government of Tripura and worked with Tripura Central University & NIC, Govt. of India in various capacities.
Dr Saha handled execution of various development projects of World Bank, AICTE, UGC and MeitY. He had actively participated in the drafting of NVEQF, NSQF notified by MHRD & MSDE in 2012 & 2013 respectively. He drives promotion of future skill in schools with strong industry association and oversee Digital Education movement under VidyaDaan @ DIKSHA.
Dr. Saha is a member of various National & International Committees constituted by AICTE, State Higher Education Council, DGT, NCTE, MoE, MSDE etc.

Ms. Rupa Chakravarty, Principal, Suncity School | Conference : VARKEY Foundation and DAIS | Mrs. Rupa Chakravarty has been invited by CBSE to be on the committee for English as an esteemed member for three years. They will be re-framing and editing the English syllabus of grades IX to XII to comply with the recommendations of NEP. I attended the first meeting for the same on Tuesday, 22nd March. Our teachers edited the existing Communicative English – MCB- Main course book and Literature text and I gave an overall feedback for the vontent. We will be re-writing this book across the year to frame the new syllabus and content for Communicative English. | • Mrs. Rupa Chakravarty was invited to be a Panelist on a webinar organized by Grand Stand of Educators. The Topic was: ‘When Home Becomes School’. The Panel included various Education Leaders along with Mr. Yogesh Kaushik – Co founder, CTO Learn India Learn, CDR. Vinod Kumar Banga – Former Chairman – IPSC, and Principals of 3 leading schools in Delhi NCR. She was also felicitated at the end of the program for being an Outstanding Head of school by EEC AWARD 2022 on 16.3.2022 |
Attended as : Panelist | • HT- Think Tank is a cohort of Heads of Schools – Owners, Directors, Principals who have come under the aegis of the tabloid/ daily newspaper Hindustan Times to advise them in various matters related to the new look and feel that HT wishes to bring to HT-School, which has a wide readership by students, teachers, educationalists and others was held on Monday, 14th March 2022. A meet was organized for 25 Heads of schools at The Lodhi Hotel, New Delhi. It was a good platform for HT to highlight their achievements and take review from the Heads of schools regarding HT-PACE. There was an entertainment element to the evening too with Heads of schools coming together to display their culinary expertise in the presence of Chef Pankaj the winner of Master chef India. Atul Khatri – the stand up comedian added wit to the evening with his relentless anecdotes. The evening culminated with dinner. All in all it was a fun – filled and sharing evening. The event was attended by Mrs. Rupa Chakravarty. | ||
