Use the icons on the previous page for the children to match with the pages in the book. I use velcro, but it’s not necessary if you don’t laminate. For the ‘talking’ page, many of my kids use AAC and it’s good to reinforce that a communication device is for talking, too!. The blue shaded icons are meant to keep together as the patterned sentence strip.
