These instructions aim to assist authors in preparing and presenting the poster for 10th International Meeting on Plant Breeding & 5º Encontro Paulista de Melhoramento de Plantas, themed "Plant Breeding Legacy and Future: Empowering the Next Generation of Breeders". The poster must be prepared only after the paper is accepted by the Scientific Committee. The poster must have the same title of the title of the submitted abstract.

The maximum usable area for the poster presentation will be 1.20 m high x 0.90 m wide, requesting that this form is strictly obeyed to prevent the poster from exceeding the individual area. The location and day of the presentation can be found on the event website or will be communicated to the authors by e-mail.

The date set by the committee for the poster presentation cannot be changed by the author.

OBJECTIVES

The essential elements are: Title, authors, institutions of affiliation, correspondence address and e-mail, Introduction, objectives, Material and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusions and acknowledgements (funding agency - if any).

Organize all poster text so that it must be readable from a distance of at least 2 meters to facilitate reading by the participants. All poster text must be written in English; however, the poster presentation may be delivered in either English or Portuguese. The recommended font for typing the poster text is Arial (suggested a minimum font size of 28).

It is forbidden the presentation by third parties (not authors), of printed works without characteristics of a poster and posters that do not obey the general rules of size and legibility.

Suggested that, respecting the particularities of each area, as little text and as many figures, photos, tables, graphs and schemes as possible be used.

At least one of the authors of the paper must remain at the poster, during the whole session, to answer the questions of the interested people.

All the material needed to fix the posters will be the responsibility of the presenting author, with no adhesive material such as tape and scissors available.
