• Bachelor degree in Sport Management at Texas A&M, Masters degree in Educational Leadership/Higher Education Administration from Mississippi State University

Why advising?

• Help you think through possible careers, and the degree(s) you would want to consider to get there.�
• Keep you on track to a degree, especially if you change your mind about what you want to do!�
• Save time – the more classes you can complete now that will count toward your desired 4-year university degree, the sooner you will be able to graduate from a university with a degree.

Importance of TSI

• TSI = Texas Success Initiative
• State of Texas law that requires all students attending a public college in Texas to prove that they are academically ready for college level Reading, Writing, and Math coursework.�
• ECHS students MUST be TSI met in order to take English, History, Math, and certain other courses.

Required meeting with me

• Everyone is required to have an individual meeting with me by the end of March to discuss your goals.�
• You will be given a worksheet in your Pathways class. Be sure to bring that to the appointment, because we will be filling that out together. �
• You must turn in that worksheet, signed by you and me during our appointment, in order to get credit for attending the appointment.�
• TCC is closed for Spring Break March 16-22, so you will not be able to meet with me during that week.
