Why did we choose this project?
We noticed that boys and girls need positive emotions, positive thinking, good behaviours.
Covid-19 pandemic has increased the necessity of people to be together.
Our main SEE goals are:
understand and manage emotions
decide and develop positive goals
feel and show empathy for the others,
make positive friendship and responsible decisions.
Why did we work at it at school?
wellbeing
resilient and stronger
Why this project?
Feelings and emotions for our students
SELF CONTROL - we want to teach them how to have control of themselves in every situation
TO MAKE A VOCABULARY OF FEELINGS - in order to make them aware of their feelings and express them
GRATITUDE - to get used to say THANK YOU helps students to be aware of the positive aspects of their lives and feel better towards themselves and the others
What did we do?
calm - relaxed – happy
they would be in their ideal place
Students would study interesting topics -
Teachers wouldn’t give too much homework -
They would never get angry
2. SECOND QUESTION: In a welcoming school, how would students behave towards their classmates?
They would play together without making fun of each other
Nobody would be refused and everybody would speak to anyone
They would all be kind and polite towards the others
3. THIRD QUESTION: How would you describe a school where you feel good?
Everybody is happy with his job and cooperate with the others.
Both students and teachers work, go on well and have fun.
Less tests and homework
A lot of technologies
When emotions come into play + music
learning by doing (with my body)
individual body relax
games to develop psychomotor skills in relationship with the others
different games in pairs and in group:

Activities related to the previous body experience
Reading of the “Carta dei diritti alle emozioni” - a sort of bill of rights of emotions
Reflection about how I see myself - how the others see me - how I see myself in and out
Listening to songs related to friendship and making a diary of emotions upon the reflection on the text of the songs
Ending: what has been important in this experience that I want to take with me - a word I want to give to the others

Diary in which we can write things that make us feel well and better every day
The parachute in which everyone wrote a hidden message for every colleague
Final sharing and feedback of what this experience meant for us
How far has the project reached?
We chose students attending year one, and at the beginning of the school year, we gave them the chance to know their new classmates deeply.
Students had the possibility of discovering new aspects of themselves through their classmates’ eyes.
Students have enlarged their vocabulary about emotions.
The group of teachers has become an harmonious team both at school and in everyday life.
DIFFICULTIES
PE teachers gave the most of their hours because lots of activities needed to use a large space like the gym. Then other teachers gave the rest of time, and we used another gym, next to our school.
Some teachers found it difficult to include the Seeval project in their lessons.
Lack of time: we all have lots of works to do, meetings, projects, continuing education.
IF YOU WANT TO ARRIVE FIRST, WALK ALONE;
IF YOU WANT TO ARRIVE FAR, WALK TOGETHER
THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION
A special thank to our head teacher, Mr. Luca Michielon, and to our colleagues and all school staff
