How’d it start?

It was a conflict between the English and the French first, the status of the duchy of Guyenne (or Aquitaine)-though it belonged to the kings of England, it remained a fief of the French crown, and the kings of England wanted independent possession

Why It Was So Huge?

The hundred years war was so huge since it lasted 116 years. It lasted from 1337-1453 though there was a long time inbetween the battles

Why It Was So Huge?

This war had taken over more than 3,000,000 lives.

How’d it end

The end of the conflict was never marked by a peace treaty but died out because the English recognized that the French troops were too strong to be directly confronted

How did it affect the world now

The Hundred Years War inflicted untold misery on France. Farmlands were laid waste, the population was decimated by war, famine, and the Black Death, and marauders terrorized the countryside.
