  1. Based on passive listening to “Young Einsteins” whilst undertaking free play.
  2. Active music making with movement

Infants in the 2nd group:

  • Had more advances early language,
  • Fussed and cried less,
  • Were more willing and curious to approach new things,
  • Smiled and laughed more,
  • Were more easily soothed.

  • Children studying music retain more of what they hear in class and develop better memory systems.
  • There are links between music education and adaptability to change and uncertainty.

  • Music study helps communication and timing between different areas of the brain.

  • Participants in the singing condition showed superior overall performance on a collection of Hungarian language tests after the 15-min learning period, compared with participants in the speaking and rhythmic speaking conditions.
