  • Introduces students to occupations and educational opportunities related to diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic illness independently or as part of a healthcare team.
  • Introduces students to the opportunities associated with providing treatment and counsel to patients as well as rehabilitative programs that help build or restore daily living skills.

HOSA – Future Health Professionals

  • Purpose: The purpose of HOSA-Future Health Professionals is to develop leadership and technical HOSA skill competencies through a program of motivation, awareness and recognition, which is an integral part of the Health Science Education instructional program
  • Activities: Join various events and compete. May qualify for state and national competitions. Events allow students to gain leadership skills, clinical skills, and knowledge towards health related issues
