CARES Monthly Meeting

What we do:

    • We are communicators
    • For a limited period of time, we will:

establish radio communication systems, staffed by licensed amateur radio operators, to replace existing damaged, disrupted, or saturated systems, or to establish radio communications where no system previously existed, on relatively short notice, at no cost to served agencies, until we are authorized to demobilize.

Kaiser Westside hospital AREDN update:

Thanks to the build-out team for the effort with the recent ARDEN build out last Tuesday (6th) at Kaiser Westside hospital

It’s a very busy time of year repairing and building-out new radio systems

But that’s Washington county ARES.. Why is this listed? Because we help other counties when we have the expertise …….. and they help us.

    • NE Sector - channel: 169
    • NW Sector - channel: 166
    • South Sector - channel: 163

Have a look -- can you see the "white" water tower hilltop West Linn?

(It's just off of Rosemont & Suncrest -- if you can see it you can “easily” connect to the AREDN system)
