SCROLL WHEEL
Use your POINTER finger
Take your pointer finger to roll the wheel up or down. Do not ‘click’ the scroll wheel.

Use the SCROLL WHEEL �on your mouse to move your page up and down
You can also use the SCROLL BAR� to go up and down the page, and sometimes to move side to side.
The main screen on your computer �is called the DESKTOP
The Dock at the bottom or side has �the Icons (small pictures) for �the Apps (applications) we use in class
Point your mouse at an icon and click on it to open the application. �
Google Chrome opens up to the Internet.
At the school, when you click on Google Chrome
it will go to our Computer Class website.
Click on your grade
If the page doesn’t load right, �click the ‘refresh’ button (circular arrow)
refresh (or reload) button �Re-opens the page and gets the latest version
You can have more than one website open! Chrome makes a TAB for each open website.

White tab�The website you are ON right now
‘+’ sign �Opens a new tab
IF CHROME ISN’T ON MRS. PORTER’S WEBSITE
Click the ‘+’ sign to add another tab, and it will open on our Technology class website!
Use the BACK button to go back one or more pages
Close TABS by clicking the 2nd “x”
At the end of class we close our extra tabs, reset the homepage, and log out!
