You can access BOTH Go-BGC AND SOCCOM floats from this home screen.

To quickly find a specific float (if you know the name), just click the Control (CTRL) button and F key at the same time. A search box will open up and you can type in the start of the float name or school). You may need to scroll to see the highlighted text. Then click to select it (will be shaded).

For this activity you will not need to change dates, however, you would like to look for seasonal or specific time frames, you DO have the ability to enter your own dates). You can also narrow down by “all dates available” etc.

For all graphs you will be using the data viz tool to generate, you will select depth (m)..depth in meters as the Y-axis

For this activity you will be selecting three different variables (one at a time) for the X-axis:

• Oxygen (umol/kg)
• will offer more consistency than oxy saturation (which varies by temp)
• Chl_a ug/l)
• Chlorophyll as part of phytoplankton and photosynthetic activity
• Nitrate (umol/kg)
• Looking at nutrients in the water
