This two-day workshop is designed to help you learn everything you need to pass your Learner Licence test and build strong driving skills from the very start.

​

You’ll grow your knowledge and confidence in real-world driving situations, with practical tips to help you make smart decisions on the road.

You’ll learn about:

• Road Code rules and learner licence requirements
• Driver responsibilities and legal obligations
• Road signs, markings, intersections, and give way rules
• Speed management, following distances, and safe passing
• Hazard awareness (pedestrians, cyclists, weather, and distractions)Motorways, rail crossings, and road works
• Night driving and other challenging conditions
• Vehicle safety and what to do in an emergency
• The effects of alcohol, drugs, fatigue, and distractions
• AA Driving School Road Code Practice Test questions and test strategies

How you will learn it

The course is designed to meet you where you’re at with your Learner Licence theory prep. If you’ve already started practicing, that’s great.

​

If you haven’t started yet, that’s great too! A big part of passing the theory test is confidence. Nerves can make it harder to remember what you know, so we’ll teach you simple test-taking strategies and easy, memorable ways to lock in key information.

​

The workshop is structured to set you up for success. On Day 1 and part of Day 2, we focus on building your knowledge and understanding of the Road Code. Then, on Day 2, you’ll get plenty of time to practice using Road Code Practice Tests, so you feel confident and ready for the real thing.

​

You’ll learn through interactive activities, group discussions, videos, and real-life scenarios. This helps turn what might feel like heavy content into practical knowledge you can use not just to pass your theory test, but to become a smart, safe driver from day one.

Test day

On Day 3, the mobile testing unit will be onsite at Rosmini, giving all eligible course students the chance to sit their Learner Licence theory test right at school.

No need to go anywhere, you’ll complete your test in a familiar, comfortable environment.

​

We’ll take care of the prep early. On Day 1, we’ll help you complete your application form and check all your ID requirements, so everything is ready to go. That means on test day, all you need to focus on is sitting your test. You’ll be given an allocated time between 9am and 3pm.

​

Simply come to school, submit your application form and ID, pay for your test, and then sit the test.

​

There’s also the opportunity to re-sit your test for free if needed… but with this preparation, you’ll be ready to pass first time!
