One Time Only

STEP 1: COMPLETE THE REQUIRED PRE-WORK — one time only!

• Complete the Info Session for New DE Students (Mandatory virtual activity for GA students taking dual enrollment classes for the first time. This step must be completed before scheduling an appointment with your school counselor!).
• Explore dual enrollment options at: CCGA; CPTC; Georgia Southern; and Georgia Tech.

STEP 2: APPLY TO THE COLLEGE — one time only!

• Submit your admission application to the college (Pro Tip: Use your personal email).
• Login to GAfutures and follow instructions for sending your GA transcript to the college.
• Contact the Admissions Office at the college to check the status of your application.
• Email a copy of your acceptance letter or email to your counselor.

Every Year

STEP 3: APPLY FOR DE FUNDING — once every school year!

• Submit your DE Funding Application for the school year in which you plan to take DE classes.
• Remind your parent/guardian to submit the electronic DE Parent Agreement. An email will be sent to the parent’s/guardian’s email address that the student listed on the funding application.

Every Semester

STEP 4: SELECT DE CLASSES — every semester, Fall & Spring!

• Print and sign both sides of the Glynn Academy DE Contract & Course Selection Form.
• Book an Appointment with your counselor during the DE Course Selection window — calendar below. You must be accepted to the college before booking an appointment.
• Bring your signed DE Contract & Course Selection Form to the meeting with your counselor.

STEP 5: CHECK YOUR CCGA EMAIL — at least once a week!

• Login to your CCGA student account to view your class schedule and to complete any remaining steps required by the college — e.g., new student orientation, textbook order, etc.
• Contact the DE Advisor at CCGA (lbailey@ccga.edu) for questions about your DE classes.
