Dear First Grader,

  My name is Mrs. Beaman and I am so excited to be your teacher this school year. Mrs. Ringgold is also a paraprofessional in our class! We are going to do so many fun things, while we read fantastic stories, learn lots of math, science, and more! I hope that you have had a fabulous summer and I cannot wait to hear all about the things that you have been able to do over your break. I am so excited to share my love of learning and this amazing journey of first grade with you. We are going to have a GREAT time together!

2 large pink erasers 24 pre-sharpened Ticonderoga Pencils

1 pair of scissors 2 composition notebooks

4-6 glue sticks 1 Yellow, two pocket, plastic folder with prongs

1 bottle of hand sanitizer 1 Red, two pocket plastic folder

2-3 boxes of tissues Earbuds or headphones (to be kept at school)
