Dishwasher

• The first dishwasher worked on a mechanical basis. It was built in 1850, but it was not particularly efficient. In 1897, the first dishwasher created by Josephine Cochrane went on sale. In 1924, a dishwasher with an electric drive was created. The dishwasher was very similar to modern models. Later, the drying function appeared, but it was not very successful and was not available to everyone.

• Many inventors undertook its development to make it more accessible. Even later, many new functions appeared, so dishwashers became more compact. Then more and more functions appeared, different types of washing, better water drainage, and salt for better drying. The last function was access to Wi-Fi and control through the application. I am very glad that I have a dishwasher because it washes the dishes for me.

• Firearms were invented by the Chinese. They created gunpowder in the 9th century. At first, they used it for fireworks. Later, they made a tube filled with gunpowder that acted like a flamethrower. This was called a fire lance. By the 12th century, they developed early guns. These guns spread to Europe in the 14th century. Europeans made the guns better. Over time, they invented new ways to make firing easier. Guns kept improving and became important in the military. Today, they use modern technology.

• I’d like to tell you about the invention of the laptop. It was invented by Adam Osborne in 1981.
• Adam Osborne was born in Thailand and later moved to the United Kingdom. He was a writer, publisher, and computer designer. He founded Osborne Computer Corporation, which developed the first commercially successful portable computer, the Osborne 1.
• The story goes that Osborne wanted to create a computer that people could carry around easily. The Osborne 1 had a small screen, a keyboard, and two floppy disk drives. It was heavy compared to modern laptops, but it was revolutionary at the time.
• Over time, laptops became smaller, lighter, and more powerful. The first laptop with a modern clamshell design was the Grid Compass, introduced in 1982. By the 1990s, laptops became widely used for work and personal use.
• Today, laptops are an essential part of everyday life, used for studying, working, and entertainment. I use mine to watch movies and TV series, play online games, do my homework, and also watch documentaries.

Microwave oven

• A microwave oven or simply microwave is an electric oven that heats and cooks food by exposing it to electromagnetic radiation in the microwave frequency range. This induces polar molecules in the food to rotate and produce thermal energy in a process known as dielectric heating. Microwave ovens heat foods quickly and efficiently because excitation is fairly uniform in the outer 25–38 mm(1–1.5 inches) of a homogeneous, high-water-content food item.
• The development of the cavity magnetron in the United Kingdom made possible the production of electromagnetic waves of a small enough wavelength (microwaves) to efficiently heat up water molecules. American electrical engineer Percy Spencer is generally credited with developing and patenting the world's first commercial microwave oven post World War IIfrom British radar technology developed before and during the war. Named the "RadaRange", it was first sold in 1947.
• Raytheon later licensed its patents for a home-use microwave oven that was introduced by Tappan in 1955, but it was still too large and expensive for general home use. Sharp Corporation introduced the first microwave oven with a turntable between 1964 and 1966. The countertop microwave oven was introduced in 1967 by the Amana Corporation. • The first modern electronic computer, ENIAC, was built in 1945. It was used for scientific calculations and military purposes. The first personal computers appeared in the 1970s, changing the way people work and communicate.

That is why the multicooker has become a popular invention in many households.

The first popular tablet, the iPad, was released by Apple in 2010. Modern tablets have powerful processors and high-quality displays. They support internet connections via Wi-Fi or mobile networks. A tablet can be used for watching videos and playing games. It is a convenient invention that makes life more comfortable.
• I use this tablet for studying, gaming, and watching dramas and movies.

Blender

• The inventor of the first blender is considered to be an engineer from America, Stephen Poplawski. In 1922, he created a device that was designed to mix liquid ingredients until smooth. At that time, soda drinks were being prepared with it.
• The 1920s in the United States were marked by Prohibition. Alcohol was consumed mainly in cocktails. Blenders became a convenient alternative to hand shakers and immediately became popular with bartenders. The first blender looked like a deep bowl with rounded blades spinning inside, similar to an airplane propeller. Poplawski was sure that his invention would become an indispensable assistant in cooking. Within a short period of time, the blender really became very popular. But the modernization of technology continued, and it was later used to mix liquids and grind products not only in bars and restaurants.
• How I use a blender. Mostly I use it to make some kind of smoothie or cocktail, and sometimes I throw in meat and chop it into a paste, I also use a blender when I make a cheese casserole.
