Think of an activity that you partake in when you’re looking for a source of comfort or joy. Then write down everything you can think of that comprise this activity, i.e. the sounds, smells, tastes, etc.

Today, compose a poem similar in sentiment to “Baked Goods” in which you discuss an activity that brings you comfort, satisfaction, or joy.
COMFORT
In the poem, Nezhukumatathil is able to establish a light-hearted tone by not only the details of the piece, but also its structure. The poem seems to go on random tangents, but they contribute to the carefree, uninhibited nature of the piece and feelings of the speaker. In your poem, be cognizant of the way in which you narrate your poem to achieve a similar effect.
