“My time in Peru was absolutely amazing and eye opening to see such a different culture. Living with a host family for a couple days at first can seem like a scary experience but it ended up being one of my favorite parts of the serve trip. Outside of staying with a host family to this day I can still vividly remember hiking to the top of the Sun Gate at Machu Picchu. EF provides me some experiences I don’t think I would get if I just traveled to the country just by myself or with family, like kayaking on lake Titicaca. Those 11 days were honestly some of the best days of my life and I cannot recommend going on an EF trip highly enough. They made sure we were always safe and the guides they employed were so knowledgeable, they were able to answer any questions we asked of them. To me, going on the service trip to Peru with EF and Brian was one of the best parts of my high school career and my life so far.” ~Maddie Pots
