Cause-specific mortality
Higher adherence to Mediterranean diet and MIND diet is associated with lower risk of stroke and ischemic stroke. Differences are observed between the stroke subtypes, significant association with higher adherence to all dietary patterns and lower risk of hemorrhagic stroke.
