‘Kinetic Letters’
Kinetic letters uses specific language to help aid the formation of each letter.
We have written the language for each letter to help you here.
Remember that the monkeys help the children understand where to start their letter. Tall letters start at the ‘brave’ monkey, at the top of the tree and most letters start at ‘scared’ monkey in the middle of the tree.

There are six core moves in kinetic letters to help the children form letters. (See photo)
We use the language connected to the movements when forming the letter e.g. To form an ‘h’ we would say;
down-bump, push over, bump, flick
The Jumper Family
These letters ‘jump down’ from the tree first.
