TAKE ACTION: Plan & prepare to release a statement in reaction to the PD that enters silence procedure.

What to expect from us:

STATEMENTS IN REACTION TO PD

4 of 6

  • Thanks to advocates and allied member states, we have come a long way from the below zero zero draft
    • Specifically we can now celebrate the inclusion of clear, measurable and time-bound (2027) targets on diagnosing and treating people with TB + provision of preventive therapy
  • Small wins on CRG language throughout but no commitments to costed CRG action plans, nor the funding or monitoring of stigma-related tools
  • Beyond a few specific cases, generally fluffy and non-time bound language throughout
  • No specific or time bound commitment to decrease mortality
