MEET YOUR CAPTAINS

The position of team captain is a leadership role. It is defined by a general helpfulness to both their fellow teammates and their coaches. Captains can do a lot of things for the team, such as leading warmups at practices & meets, giving advice and answering questions for teammates, and acting as an intermediary between coaches and teammates.

The TEAM CAPTAIN will be expected to:

  • Promote a positive attitude and positive team interaction.
  • Provide a positive role model concerning commitment, intensity, confidence, response to mistakes, composure, hustle, and a “team first” focus.
  • Help settle team conflicts and be willing to confront and hold teammates accountable for their behaviors
  • Encourage and support all teammates.
  • Lead the team throughout the season
