Ms. Ta is currently the Chief Executive Officer of eBRAM International Online Dispute Resolution Centre Limited. With over 15 years of experience in international arbitration and case management, she has supervised hundreds of international arbitration cases in a wide range of jurisdictions and economic sectors.

As Counsel of the Secretariat of the International Court of Arbitration of the ICC, Asia Office in Hong Kong (2016-2021), she was responsible for managing the Hong Kong team, including administration of Asia-related arbitration cases. She was appointed as Vice-President of the Asia Pacific Regional Arbitration Group (APRAG) from 2016 to 2019. She is qualified to practice at the Paris Bar.

COVID-19 ODR Scheme 2019 冠状病毒网上争议解决计划

Launched in June 2020

    • To support the general public, especially micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), to resolve COVID-19 related disputes, within 6 weeks at a fee of HK$200 per party.

​

Eligible cases - requirements:

      • COVID-19 related with a claim amount for each case capped at HK$500,000
      • Either one of the parties must be a Hong Kong resident or company.

​

ODR proceedings

      • Governed by eBRAM COVID-19 ODR Rules
      • 3-stage proceedings: negotiation, mediation and arbitration

    • 为支援受影响市民，特别是中小微企而设，每方只需支付港币200元的申请费用，便可在6星期内解决与疫情相关的争议。

    • Any dispute, controversy or claim arising hereunder (the “Dispute”) and within the scope of the APEC Collaborative Framework for Online Dispute Resolution of Cross-Border Business-to-Business Disputes shall be settled in accordance with the APEC Rules of eBRAM in force when the commencement notice of the Dispute is submitted to eBRAM.

    • Agreed language of ODR proceedings, place of arbitration, or applicable law may be included.

Arbitration clause

Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this contract, or the breach, termination or invalidity thereof, shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the eBRAM Arbitration Rules.
