Lesson Goal:
Students will understand how their school and other communities define excellence, ethics, and engagement. Students will relate community definitions and values to their own personal values, which will be recorded in written assessments.
4
Assessment:
You will be able to identify and analyze the values of communities of which they are a part (including their school and at least one other community). You will relate these values to the 3 Es of “good work.” You will then consider how their own values intersect with those of their communities. Written reflections will be collected and assessed as part of the Good Work portfolio.
