The Fall 2024 Show was called BURST ✷, and it took the form of an art gallery exhibition at an actual gallery on campus.

The happy path

  1. Join the community, meet other hackers, share what you’re working on
  2. Learn something new at an hour-long workshop
  3. Come to Hack Night every week, meet your closest friends, make things together
  4. Share your work at the end of the year at the Show

No commitment.

  • We are entirely opt-in. No dues, no commitments.
  • Hack Night, Community, Workshops, the Show; come to as many or as few as you want.

28 of 33

We are open source.

  • Purdue Hackers is very community-driven; the community is Purdue Hackers.
  • The line between community members & organizers is somewhat blurry πŸŒ«οΈβ€”many community members help with event logistics, engineering, etc.
  • Many of our workshops & parts of Hack Night are run by community members!

We are open source.

  • If you want to see an event happen, you can make it happen! Pitch it in our Discord or talk to one of us after this callout & we’ll work with you to make it happen.
  • If you want to have a piece of infrastructure that would make your experience better, build it! We’ll work with you to make it real.
  • You can help shape your experience as a member of Purdue Hackers. πŸ’›
