Interactive Learning Structure

The Trifecta (Rounds)

1. Agree or Disagree (debate...3 alternating speaking turns X 45 seconds per team)

2. Rhetorical Strategies Analysis or substitute standards-based prompts based on your course curriculum (3 uninterrupted minutes per team---NOTE: team presenting 2nd should be absent from other team’s presentation...i.e. in the hallway, backroom, etc. )

3. The Challenge (random challenges: i.e. rap song, movie trailer, the speaker/the whisperer/the visual, Nerfball discussion)

The Trifecta (Judging)

1. Clarity (1-3 points)
2. Accuracy (1-3 points)
3. Overall Teamwork (Collaboration, Discipline, Respect, Positivity, etc.) (1-3 points)
4. Wow! Factor (1 point)
