Course must be in a pathway that does not have weighted (TAP/AP/DC) options.
Students will not be approved to take more than two Pass/Fail courses in any one school year.
Students must successfully complete the application process advertised by the campus and meet any required deadlines.
Students must complete the form each eligible year.
Students must commit to the program prior to August 1st.
The decision cannot be changed after August 1st.
Students must earn a semester average of at least 80 to qualify for the conversion to a Pass for the transcript record. Semester averages of less than 80 will be posted according to regular guidelines and will be included in GPA rankings.
Provided that the semester average is at least 80, the numerical semester average will be converted to a grade of Pass for the transcript. The grade will not be included in GPA calculations.

Things to Consider
Any student (Class of 2024 or beyond) can choose to take an approved Pass/Fail course in their junior and/or senior years of high school.
Pass/Fail benefits students with a GPA over 100.

Students need to consider the implications of taking a Pass/Fail course on their GPA before completing the application.

Confirmation
Students who complete the application before May 23, 2025 will receive a confirmation email to their school email addresses by the end of the day May 30, 2025.
Students who complete the application after May 23, 2025 will receive a confirmation email by August 1, 2025.
A confirmation email of the student’s request will also be sent to the email addresses of any parent or guardian on file with the school.
If a student decides to not take a Pass/Fail class after completing the application, it is their responsibility to contact their counselor in writing by August 1, 2025.
Students’ schedules will reflect the pass/fail course by the end of the first marking period.
