If you’d like to participate, fill out your Volunteer application. Click here to apply to volunteer. All Watch D.O.G.S. must have their volunteer application processed in order to be on campus. The application needs to be completed every year. Only approved volunteers may be a Watch D.O.G.S. It may take up to two weeks to be approved. Please complete your application now. The district will email you your confirmation once you are approved.
Watch D.O.G.S. will select a morning or afternoon time slot to volunteer on campus. You may sign up for one AM or PM time through the Sign Up Genius that will be sent out in the Parent Travel Plan each month. In an effort to provide opportunities for all dads to participate, please be mindful of the time slots you reserve to be on campus.
As a Watch D.O.G.S., volunteers will have the opportunity to assist in some of these ways:
*Photo with your child *Assist with arrival and dismissal *Be recognized in the morning during Call to Greatness
*Spend time with your child in the classroom *Checking all doors and gates are secure
WATCH D.O.G.S.® (Dads Of Great Students) is an innovative program of the National Center for Fathering focusing on improving education in our nation’s schools by using the positive influence of fathers and father-figures to provide a positive and active male role-model for students during their school day, and to provide an extra set of eyes and ears to enhance school security.
