What are the similarities and differences between Brighton and XP? The value of Crew was strong and how the children feel safe and have a sense of belonging in school. The children could draw parallels with our own and spoke about school with great pride. Expeditions were driving the curriculum and were iterated each term to improve them moving forward. What can we learn from this? The journey of the expedition was captured on displays all around the school. Even work that was in draft and of questionable quality but was displayed as per part of the journey of critique. Children’s work was celebrated as much as possible. What might we want to explore further? The lesson walkthrough doc. Was an interesting adaptation of what we do and could be explored. So was how children's work and the journey of the expedition was displayed around school. I also thought that the character traits were displayed beautifully around the site to amplify their importance but it was all children’s work. |
